Eleni Cody
Physiotherapist & Pilates Instructor
Qualifications
Eleni started her career as a Personal Trainer after studying Human Movement Studies (Exercise Science) in 2000. It was here that she developed her interest in injuries and rehabilitation, and went on to study a Master of Physiotherapy Studies at the University of Queensland (2005).
Why Women’s Health?
Eleni joined Advantage Healthcare and Physiotherapy in 2007. She has a keen interest in Women’s Health, having studied further since graduating. She has a special interest in helping women with pelvic floor weakness, bladder problems, returning to exercise post-birth and assisting women with prolapse. Eleni also enjoys teaching Pilates and rehabilitation and progressing individuals, of all ages and abilities, through their strengthening and fitness program.
Eleni also enjoys working with patients with musculoskeletal conditions and seeing them overcome their injuries. She uses adjunct therapies such as acupuncture, dry needling and cupping.
Other Interests
Eleni is a busy mum of two young children. In her “free” time she enjoys being in the outdoors, running, going to the beach, catching up with friends and family and eating out!

Adela Kang
Physiotherapist & Pilates Instructor
Qualifications
Adela graduated from the University of Newcastle with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Honours) in 2015. Since graduating, Adela gained an understanding in pre and post surgical management and rehabilitation and various musculoskeletal conditions in the hospital setting.
Why Women’s Health?
Through her physio years, Adela’s areas of interest have expanded to Women’s health physio particularly after having her first child in 2016. Since birth, she has realised how childbirth can impact the body during and after pregnancy. She believes none of those changes should be overlooked and found that how many women are not getting appropriate help. Adela is keen to help women on their pregnancy journey. Based on her philosophy, ‘Inspire and Support’, she loves to inspire women to understand their body and ability also support them to achieve their best health and goals. To help others, but also to help herself, Adela has done extensive training within Women’s Health Physiotherapy. She is particularly interested in urinary incontinence and pre and post gynaecological surgery rehabilitation.
Other Interests
Adela is a wife and mother of two children and has a renovation mad husband. In her spare time, she enjoys meditation to maintain her positive energy level and of course playing with her energetic young children.
