About Our Massage Therapy Services

How long should I book for?

Our massage appointments are available in 30 minute and 60 minute blocks. It depends on your injury, pain, history, goals and tolerance to decide how long you would like your massage for. Have a chat to one of our receptionists or massage therapists for a better idea. If you’d like to view our fee structure please click here.

When to have a massage?

Massage at Advantage Healthcare & Physiotherapy has a range of benefits and we offer a range of massage styles. Massage is beneficial for injury rehabilitation, back pain, headaches as well as pregnancy, lymphedema and relaxation. If is best to see a massage therapist as soon as you start noticing symptoms as this will greatly improve your recovery time.

How often should I have a massage?

This is dependant on why you are getting a massage. If you are coming in for a bit of a de-stress and relaxation, monthly appointments might be for you. If you are recovering from an injury you may need to be seen weekly. If you are using massage as a preventative treatment for back pain or headaches, you might be on a fortnightly basis. Your massage therapist should be able to give you a better idea about this and how many sessions you will need.

What do I need to wear to my appointment?

We want you to be comfortable. If you are comfortable with removing your top for treatment you may wear whatever you like. If you would prefer to remain completely clothed during your appointment, you should wear loose fitting and comfortable clothing so that the massage therapist can treat your issue.
