Clinical Rehabilitation utilises a combination of traditional Pilates and specific body movements to get the correct muscles in your core activated. Core control will help you to stop your spinal or limb pain. A strong core is the best insurance against injury. Clinical Rehab is also suitable for those that currently don’t have an injury but want to improve their core.
How to get Started
Clinical Rehab is run by our Wynnum Physiotherapists and programs are built around an individual’s needs and limitations. There are a couple of steps before you start group classes:
Initial Assessment
All participants must go through an initial assessment prior to starting classes. This ensures that Physiotherapists have an intimate knowledge of each participant’s level of ability, their strengths and their weaknesses.
This knowledge allows our Physiotherapists to develop an individual program that maximises the benefits of Clinical Rehab.
One-on-One Session
You will then attend a one on one session with the Physiotherapist to run through their Pilates program, ensuring that they can perform the exercises proficiently.
