Our History as Advantage Healthcare & Physiotherapy

Advantage Physiotherapy was started as a small, family run business in 2004. The initial aim of the clinic was to establish a boutique service offering superior clinical expertise, long term solutions to musculo-skeletal problems in a comfortable, friendly environment. We wanted our workplace to feel like a family, with everyone working together to achieve optimal health.

Thanks to the great support of the Bayside community, Advantage Physiotherapy has grown into a busy health hub for the community. Servicing Wynnum, Manly, Wynnum West, Manly West, Lytton, Murarrie, Hemmant, Tingalpa, Wakerley, Lota, Ransome and Thorneside. Needs within the area have prompted us to establish a wide range of health related services.

In 2010, Advantage Physiotherapy became Advantage Healthcare and Physiotherapy and moved into new premises at 90 Tingal Road. The move allowed for a greater range of services to be offered to the local community and a wide range of Allied Health practitioners on staff to cater to the community’s needs.

In 2012, Advantage Healthcare and Physiotherapy merged with Lifestyle Therapies, adding more services to its already broad service profile.

Now in its twentieth year of operation, Advantage Healthcare and Physiotherapy is very proud of the level of service, care and professionalism that we provide to local residents.

We have built the clinic on the dedication of our staff, the loyalty of our clients and the suggestions for improvement of both of these groups of people. If you believe any improvements can be made, please feel free to formally (in writing) or informally (in conversation) make those suggestions to staff.

“If you are not convinced your practitioner has done their best with your consultation, we will refund the appointment fee you have paid. In addition to that, your next session will be free of charge to you.”

All you have to do is let us know what you are not happy about on the day of that appointment and we will refund your fee. We also offer you a second session for free to allow us to meet your needs with no risk to you.
