We provide gap-free physiotherapy services for NDIS participants, including children's physiotherapy, supporting mobility, strength, and independence. Certain stroke or neuroiological conditions can be treated by our neurological physiotherapist.
We are also able to treat pelvic floor issues under NDIS for the relevant conditions.
Our focus is on improving function, building capacity, and helping you achieve your individual goals.
Treatment is tailored to your needs, with a clear plan to support your ongoing development and participation in daily activities.
Yes. The NDIS funds physiotherapy when it's reasonable and necessary and directly related to your disability and the goals in your plan. In most cases it sits under Capacity Building, in the Improved Daily Living category, which covers therapy that helps you build independence and function over time. Some participants access it through Core Supports where the need is tied to everyday activities.
What the scheme won't fund is physiotherapy that isn't connected to your disability. That covers acute injuries like a fresh ankle sprain, rehabilitation after elective surgery, general fitness programs, and pain management where the pain comes from something other than your disability. Those are usually handled through Medicare, private health or the hospital system. This catches a lot of people out, so if you're unsure where your situation sits, it's worth checking with your plan manager or support coordinator before you book.
If your physiotherapy is included in your plan and linked to your goals, we can get started once your funding and management type are confirmed.
Our physiotherapists will assess your needs and develop a tailored treatment plan to support your mobility, function, and independence.
Treatment may include:
Exercise-based rehabilitation to improve strength, balance, and coordination
Mobility and functional training to support daily activities
Support with goal-based rehabilitation and capacity building
Ongoing review and progression to support long-term outcomes
We have been treating the Wynnum and bayside community since 2004, and we are a registered NDIS provider. That means we meet the scheme's practice standards and can invoice plan-managed, self-managed and NDIA-managed participants correctly, which takes a lot of the admin friction out of sorting your funding and billing. It also means the provider you start with will still be here through this plan and the next.
Because we are a multi-disciplinary clinic, you are not limited to one type of treatment. Alongside general physiotherapy we have exercise physiology, a dedicated paediatric physiotherapist for children on the scheme, and women's health and pelvic floor care, all under the one roof. If your needs sit across more than one of these, or you are a family managing supports for a child, that means fewer separate appointments and clinicians who can actually talk to each other about your care.
Our team is senior. You are seeing experienced physiotherapists who work with NDIS participants regularly, so the person managing your care understands both the clinical side and how the scheme itself works, which are not always the same thing.
Treatment is gap-free, so there is nothing to pay out of pocket for NDIS treatments. We work to the goals in your plan, track your progress properly, and provide the reports your plan manager or support coordinator needs at review time, which is often what decides whether funding continues or gets questioned. As your capacity changes we adjust the plan with you, so the support stays matched to where you are now rather than where you started.
